Was roaming around Mitsui Outlet Park during their opening and found a watch shop having promotion for Citizen watch. At RM300+, it was like a bargain to me and so I bought one. It was a Citizen Ecodrive watch with pseudo diver design. Pseudo because the bezel cannot be rotated. Ecodrive means solar powered and never needs to change battery. Actually, there is a battery inside that is needed to power the watch if there is no light. I heard the original rechargeable battery is quite expensive but you can put in ordinary ones as well and it can still run fine. As an Ecodrive, it also means that this is a quartz movement, not mechanical. This is quite a big watch for my wrist, about 43mm in diameter, the canvas strap makes it look rather rugged.
Dimension:
Diameter - 43mm
Lug to lug - 50mm
Lug width - 23mm
Thickness - 10mm

As you can see, it uses a canvas strap. At the backcase, it is engraved with the Ecodrive globe logo.
The crown is plain and ordinary without any logo engraving unlike Seiko 5.
While the buckle is neatly engraved with the word Citizen.
